1
Open the Kik app. Tap the Settings icon, shaped like a gear, in the upper-right corner. It is not possible to "log-out" of Kik, as it does not support multiple users. Instead, you will be resetting the app, which will cause you to lose all of your conversations.
2
Save your old messages. Resetting the app will delete all of your conversations. You can copy and paste individual messages by pressing and holding the message. Select "Copy" from the menu that appears, and then paste the message in another document to save it.
- It is possible to backup your Kik messages, but this requires that your phone berooted or jailbroken, and also requires a third-party app.
3
Tap "Your Account". This will open a menu letting you make changes to your account settings.
4
Tap "Reset Kik Messenger". Since you can't log out of Kik, resetting the app is the only way to remove your account information and sign in with another account. Resetting Kik will erase your conversation history.
5
Confirm the reset. Tap "Yes" in the window that appears to confirm that you want to reset the app. Your account will not be deleted, but you will need to sign in again.
