LOVOO is your app to find people nearby in a fun and easy way. Discover who has the same interests and chat with people in your area. You never know, you might even meet the love of your life. 

LOVOO works like this:

• Check the radar to see who is nearby
• Play Match and find people to chat to or fall in love with
• Find new people and photos
• Upload some pictures and show more of yourself


Thanks to the connection to HealthKit and the Health app, you can send your heartbeat on the Apple Watch directly via message. 


The app is free to download and use but some in-app items will require payment.

VIP Service Conditions:
- Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription.
- Your account will be charged for a renewed subscription within 24 hours prior to the end of current subscription.
- You can manage your subscription and switch off the auto-renewal by accessing your account settings after purchase. 
- You cannot cancel the current subscription during the active subscription period.
- Any unused part or timespan of a free trial period will be forfeited, as soon as you purchase a subscription.

1) Verified profiles protect against fake users

Our verification feature guarantees that all verified LOVOO users are real persons. This way we avoid fake profiles. The verification process consists of various stages and is carried out manually by our support and security team. To verify a profile, users receive an identification code with which they are to take a clearly recognizable photo of themselves. After they send us this picture it is matched with other pictures from their profile and attributed the verified-status. In this process it is important that the user has uploaded at least one profile picture of himself before the verification request is sent.

2) No profile search for users under 18
Searching for users within our app is exclusively restricted to adult members. Young people under the age of 18 cannot be found through search. Consequently the younger age group remains by itself. Young people, aged 16 to 18, are on principle only allowed to chat, if their accounts are verified by the LOVOO team and their profiles checked by hand.

3) Report function
Our extremely active community helps us detect violation of our guidelines by using the report function on the app. Indications of infringement by other users are followed up immediately. Regarding this matter we have set up a separate procedure in our support and security team especially for young people, to make quick intervention possible.

4) Strict picture controls by the LOVOO Support and Security team
All requirements concerning profile pictures follow strict guidelines. Naturally only G rated pictures are allowed on LOVOO. All suspicious photos are manually controlled and removed by our Support and Security Team. Obvious fake profiles are deleted by us in their entirety.

5) Privacy and Security
All information and content of LOVOO users is treated with strict confidentiality and is not passed on to third parties. In addition, content, for example chat messages, is SSL encrypted for the protection of users. LOVOO allows its members to link their LOVOO accounts to their Facebook profiles. With this link users can use the FB login for LOVOO.

Security tips for users:
- Think very carefully about what personal data you put on the network
- Choose a difficult password and don’t share it with anyone
- Don’t upload any R rated content to your profile
- Block users that you don’t want to be in contact with
- Tell your friends when you are meeting community members for a date
- Use the privacy settings in the app
- Use the report function for users who infringe LOVOO community guidelines
- Be suspicious of unverified members
- You can always deacitvate your GPS if you do not wish to be found on the radar
